Eligibility for DTP:

Though there should be no specific educational qualification required to work in an effective manner. One should be a Matriculate at least of Senior Secondary passed out candidate. Whereas, the higher qualification of the operator wider will be the scope for him to get the work in the various reputed public and private organizations. DTP Duration:

This is a comprehensive course of 1 to 3-day Introduction to DTP (Desktop Publishing) will give you a complete understanding of all the aspects of the print publishing process showing you how to design and layout all manner of print materials including brochures, newsletters, manuals, books, etc. This course combines creating an image, editing and touching up in Photoshop and then goes on to use either Adobe Indesign or QuarkXpress to take the imagery and combine it with text to design the full print material. While the course you will be given expert help and tips on the whole print process from how to develop initial ideas, to best layout practice to sourcing and liaising with a printer, deciding on the paper and checking proofs and details on-press. You should get a chance to cover and choosing fonts along with deciding on the best color combinations including CMYK and Pantones. Usually, the course duration is of 1 year and depends on the diplomas. DTP Syllabus:

All the Students will use the Adobe  Creative Suite in this course. Students will get to learn to use the basic tools of  Photoshop, Illustrator, and In-Design. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to understand the difference between a pixel-based and vector-based graphic, and they will import and export graphics in multiple formats. Topics shall include creating text and gradients,  drawing and composing an illustration, transforming and distorting objects, incorporating color techniques, placing type in an image, how to work with layers, and printing preparation will also be covered. Projects will include designing a logo, editing photographs for a brochure and design and layout for a company’s newsletter.
